Getting started
How do I set up my Appoinly workspace?
After signing up, open your workspace at your-slug.appoinly.com.cy and visit Settings to add your business hours, currency and time zone. Then create your first service from the Services page and invite staff members from Team.
Most operators are ready to take their first booking within 15 minutes.
How do I invite staff to my workspace?
Go to Team in the dashboard sidebar and click Invite member. Enter their email and choose a role — Owner, Manager or Staff. They will receive a magic-link email to join your workspace.

How do my customers book appointments?
Share the public booking link from the Share page — it looks like your-slug.appoinly.com.cy. Customers pick a service, staff member (optional) and a time slot. You can also embed the booking widget on your own website with an iframe snippet from the same page.
Can I add a booking manually for a walk-in?
Yes. From the Calendar page click any free slot, or use the New booking button to enter the customer's name, service and time. Manual bookings are treated the same as online bookings and trigger the same reminder emails.

How do I accept online payments?
Connect Stripe from Settings → Payments. Once connected you can require a deposit or full upfront payment per service. Funds are paid out by Stripe on their standard schedule — Appoinly never holds your money.
Can I issue a refund through Appoinly?
Yes. Open the booking, click Refund, and choose full or partial. The refund is processed by Stripe and appears on the customer's statement within 5–10 business days. The booking status is updated automatically.
Calendar sync
How does Google Calendar sync work?
Each staff member can connect their own Google Calendar from Settings → Integrations. New Appoinly bookings appear in their calendar within seconds, and busy events on their calendar block out time so customers cannot double-book.
You can disconnect at any time. We never read events outside the staff member's primary calendar.
Notifications
What notifications do customers and staff receive?
By default, customers receive a confirmation email immediately after booking and a reminder 24 hours before their appointment. Staff members receive a notification email when a new booking is made or when a customer cancels. Templates are fully editable under Settings → Notifications.

How do reviews work?
After a booking is marked completed, Appoinly automatically sends the customer a one-tap review request. Reviews are stored in your workspace and can be moderated before being shown on your public booking page.
Cancellation
Can customers cancel or reschedule their own bookings?
Yes. Every confirmation email contains a secure link to manage the booking. You can set a cancellation window (for example, no cancellations within 24 hours) in Settings → Booking rules. Outside the window, customers must contact you directly.
How do I cancel my Appoinly subscription?
You can downgrade to the Free plan or close your account at any time from Settings → Billing. There are no cancellation fees. We keep your data for 12 months in case you return, then permanently delete it.
